‘MATTERNET M2’ A DRONE DELIVERY SERVICE FOR URGENT SUPPLIES OF MEDICAMENTS IN SWITZERLAND

The Matternet M2 Drones that procured clearance certificate in Switzerland have an utmost ambit of 20 kilometers or about 12 miles and can hoist a 2 kilogram of medicines, blood samples and other small parcels with an average speed of 36 km/hr. or 22 Miles/hr. without being charged. It can also help in delivering some urgent necessary consignments such as lab tests, etc. Swiss Post mainly focusing on simple objective of helping the needy in emergency and not planning for the world acquisition delivery process.

Till now, there is no word from Swiss Post to launch and use in the practical world and still testing and examining of drone continues. The price for such drone has not been mentioned but sooner Swiss Post will disclose as soon as they bring this drone in reality.
